Location: Center City - Philadelphia, PA

The Comcast Technology Center hand-selected James to spray paint this graffiti infused, iconic Philly signage collage for their Market Place luncheon hang-out. The mural artist pulled specific logos, signage, and branding from all parts of Philadelphia including South Philly, West Philly, China Town, and Center City. He specifically cherry picked Philadelphia’s cultural landmarks, mixed in some popular bars & restaurants, and twisted it all together with his unique graffiti touches. He chose a simple color palette in order to contain the various elements to create a warm/cool vibe that is easy on the eye for this playful area. The final piece of artwork tells a story of historic Philadelphia, using signage typography that breaks through barriers; literally and metaphorically.

Only a few month’s earlier, James single-handedly painted THREE massive 100ft long hallways on Floors 29, 30, 31! Here he used his signature Word Collage styling to give a colorful Philly-centric wall paper as a massive accent wall. Check out the articles below for more info!
